ABOUT US

Jup Threads was founded by Hannah Rogers, a high school senior at William T. Dwyer High School, who saw a pressing need in her community. It is almost impossible not to witness extreme wealth disparities between students, in our town. Because of this, she saw her classmates struggling with basic needs, wondering how they could focus on their studies, let alone prepare for the SATs, when they were worried about their next meal.

Our Story

Hannah’s journey began when she realized the stark contrast between the affluence of Jupiter and the hardships that are overlooked in this town. She asked herself, "With a town as affluent as Jupiter, why aren't we doing more to help?" This question led her to discover a remarkable local organization dedicated to reducing hunger and promoting dignity and self-sufficiency in Palm Beach County.

In our town, with a locals-help-locals environment, South Florida organizations developed to combat the issues that negatively impact our locals. These organizations stem from all areas of need, from food pantries, youth education, and most important, giving a support system to those who need it most. This led to the creation of a 501(c)3 called JupThreads, that is dedicated to supporting these organizations and the people they help on a daily basis.

Our Mission

At Jup Threads, our mission is to bridge the gap between affluence and need by supporting vital local organizations that work tirelessly to uplift our community. We believe in creating opportunities for every individual to thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances. By donating our proceeds to these impactful initiatives, we help ensure that day laborers, their families, and underserved youth in Palm Beach County have access to essential services, education, and opportunities for personal growth. Our goal is to foster a community where everyone has the resources they need to succeed and where compassion and collective action drive positive change..
